To say that I am a professional photographer implies simply that it is a job or path I have ventured down on the road of life. This could not be further from the truth.
For me, the journey with photography started from an early age – my first trip overseas to my ancestral homeland; where I captured portraits of a fading India, which only a few, like my grandparents’ generation now remember. Since then, I pursued photography with more than an avid interest and further, completed studies in photography.
Since then, I have had the privilege to photograph hundreds of weddings and events for some of the most sophisticated and stylish clients across Australia and New Zealand. My assignments have taken me to every major city across Australia and several rural towns. During which, I have had the honour in meeting some of the most warm, hospitable and genuine people throughout my travels.
My photography has been a message of love, celebration and union. I fuse moments of energy, atmosphere and celebration to reproduce a portrait, which will invite you, to remember your memories in the years to come.
I take the vow to find beauty, in even the smallest stolen glances and whispered words. It is unconditional, un-judging, and unwavering in its pursuit of that millisecond, that the outside world may overlook but can last in your heart for a lifetime.
Shooting with some of the most modern equipment and technology, I look for individuality and uniqueness in everything around me to produce art. Adopting a photojournalistic style, my record of your celebration is less about forcing poses or settings, but by visualising the event as I see it through the lens.
